My Blogs etc
Before discovering Blogger.com, I used a couple of different web presences to share my written ramblings and snaps with those friends & family with a passing interest in what I was doing with all my spare time.

The first incarnation was courtesy of Frank of the (unrelated) Derbyshire branch of the great Smith Clan.  He kindly hosted my blog for my travels in Africa in 2005 and 2006 within his family’s own excellent website.

Subsequently, I used Microsoft’s Spaces.com to show my snaps and a few words.

I decided to move to Blogger for its convenience and simplicity – I should be able update it via e’mail to the site with words and pictures  automatically appearing !  We shall see if should transfers into does.  I think that I may need to make periodic visits to the site to tweek the layout.

All my photographs and words can now be accessed via "A Smith's Ramblings" website.
